A popular influencer who was allegedly beaten and assaulted by her ex says she’s “learning to love myself again.”
It’s been two months since Tara Eslami was allegedly dragged by her hair and punched in the face multiple times in a Sydney hotel room by her then-boyfriend, TikTok star Rabih Houchar, 26, who also allegedly threatened to kill her.
On Monday, Houchar, known as @Dior_onma_body to his 16,800 followers, appeared on theThe NSW Supreme Court Mondays, where he pleaded not guilty to domestic violence-related assault occasioning actual bodily harm, destruction or damage to property, and stalking or intimidation.
He had been in custody but was released on bail on Monday under strict conditions of house arrest, with no internet access and a police report.
On Tuesday, Ms Eslami, who has more than 17,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram, thanked those who have supported her in recent weeks.
She uploaded a short clip of herself opening a card that read: ‘We believe in you, we love you and we support you.’

Court documents indicate that Houchar was having an on-and-off relationship with Ms. Eslami when they returned from lunch at the Vibe Hotel in Sydney June 16th.
