A young woman felt ‘scared’ after her date with Hinge ‘stalked’ her in the middle of the night.
American YouTube personality Tana Mongeau, 25, went on a first date with the 34-year-old who she thought was a “super hot guy.”
The next night she attended a fashion event and claims that he was looking forward to seeing her that night.
As Tana texted him that she would keep in touch to possibly meet up later that night, he showed up unannounced at the nightclub she was at with friends.
“Five minutes went by and he texted me and said, ‘I’m outside, get in my car. I’m outside,'” Tana told Brooke Schofield, co-host of the Canceled podcast.

He recalled the entire ordeal in a podcast episode that was also shared in a TikTok video.
“I had just gone out with him on a date the night before and the next day he said, ‘I’d love to see you tonight,'” she began.
“I was like, ‘Okay, I have this event. I’ll let you know what I’m doing next. We can hang out, maybe. If not, I’ll let you know.” And then he says, “Can I go with you?”
“I find it very strange that when you go on a date with someone, they invite themselves.”
The glamorous blonde said she was paid to attend events and she didn’t feel comfortable taking someone she barely knows with her.
‘I don’t want to babysit this man all night. Like, I want to be able to do my thing,’ he continued.
So I said, “I don’t know… see you later.” And he says, “Why not? I can talk to people too.” He is 34 years old, it seems a little strange to me, you know? I was like, “Maybe I’ll see you later.”

After the fashion event, she and her friends attended an after-party nightclub in Los Angeles.
‘So he’s texting me and he’s like, “What are you doing?” I’m like, “Oh, I’m still hanging out with my friends,” Tana said.
“I tell him, ‘I know it’s 1:15 a.m., it’s a little late, but if you wanted to watch a movie later or hang out, I could come downstairs, but I’ll be here.”
He says, “Okay. I’m tired, but I’m going to watch a movie in a bit if you finish soon.” And I’m like, “Okay, perfect.”
And he says: “Where are you?” I reply because it’s just conversational. So I was like, “Oh, I’m in this nightclub just vibing with my friends. I’ll let you know when I’m done.”
However, five minutes later, he claims to have received a text from the man saying he was outside in his car.
“Five minutes went by and he texted me and said, ‘I’m outside, come and get in my car. I’m outside,'” she said.
‘And I say, ‘What do you mean you’re outside?’ And he says, “I live five minutes away, I’m outside.”
Co-host Brooke added that Tana never said “pick me up” from the after party.
Tana went on to say, ‘I think that’s crazy. If he’s like your boyfriend, that’s fine or even if we’ve been dating for a month.
‘But we went on a date the day before. Why the hell are you outside? Don’t be outside.
Tana recalled the entire ordeal in a podcast episode that was also shared on a TikTok video that has now been viewed more than 3.2 million times.
Since then, the video has captured the attention of the masses and has been viewed 3.2 million times.
“This story was CRAZY, so wild,” one commented, another said, “That’s crazy.”
“I literally told a guy ‘maybe we can hang out later’, fell asleep and he showed up at my house,” said a third.
Others shared their own experiences on the dating scene.
