It’s been a big week for Home And Away star Tammin Sursock.

The Australian actress, 39, lives in Nashville with her family and was left devastated Monday after her eldest daughter’s school was closed during the Covenant school shooting.

Now, days later, Tammin reveals that her family has been placed on a hurricane watch, as intense storms sweep through Tennessee.

Posting to Instagram Stories on Saturday, Tammin filmed herself sitting on the couch at night worrying about the hurricane, while her husband Sean McEwen and their two daughters Phoenix, nine, and Lennon, four, slept.

So we are still on a hurricane watch, and my husband is asleep. My whole family is asleep. And I’m sitting here, just stressing,” she told her fans with a wry smile.

Tameen Sursock, 39, who lives in Nashville with husband Sean McEwen and their two daughters (all pictured) revealed Saturday that her family has been placed under a tornado watch as severe storms raged in Tennessee.

‘But did you know?’ I will give myself a blessing that perhaps I should stress. This week has been a lot. And I’m very proud of myself for not being totally slimmed down. So I’ll just sit here, waiting for the hurricane sirens.’

An hour later, the Pretty Little Liars star returned to Instagram with a video of her recently awakened husband setting up a “temporary tornado shelter” in the guest bathroom.

Tammin filmed Shawn giving a tour of the small space, which included a mattress wedged through the ceiling.

It comes just days after Tameen's nine-year-old daughter Phoenix was arrested in the Covenant school shooting that killed three children and three adults on Monday.
