Tamara Joy has announced she will be joining the cast of Celebrity Ex On the Beach, alongside her Married At First Sight co-star Jessika Power.
On Wednesday she took to Instagram to share a promotional photo of herself in a tiny red bikini, but fans couldn’t help but point out how different she looks from her days on Australian television.
Tamara, who starred in MAFS in 2019, now boasts much larger lips, accentuated cheekbones and a differently shaped nose.
Along with the image, the 33-year-old wrote in the caption: “I did something.” Watch the new series of Celebrity Ex On The Beach on March 19, only on Paramount+ UK and MTV UK.
Many fans were very happy with the announcement, but some followers expressed their surprise at Tamara’s new look in the comments.
Fans of Married At First Sight star Tamara Joy were left shocked by her unrecognizable appearance on Wednesday after she shared a promotional image confirming she has joined the cast of Ex On The Beach.
‘Oh my God! Girl, you don’t look like yourself anymore,’ one Instagram user wrote before posting a frowning emoji, while another commented, ‘Her face!’ She looks so different.’
“I was shocked, I used to be so jealous of her natural beauty,” another comment read.
It comes just two weeks after Tamara responded to similar comments from cruel trolls who ridiculed her online.
Tamara (pictured in MAFS in 2019) now features much larger lips, accentuated cheekbones and a differently shaped nose.
Fellow MAFS star Jessika Power will also appear on the show.
Tamara, who has never been shy about talking about her cosmetic enhancements, responded to “irrelevant” opinions about her appearance in an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle.
“These people need to take a look at their own backyard before criticizing others,” he told the publication.
“It’s a shame that in 2024 we’re still commenting on women’s appearance.”
Fans couldn’t help but point out how different she looks from her days on Australian television.

And he continued: ‘It is sad that society has not evolved. Especially women who comment on another woman’s appearance. Where is your empathy?
Tamara went on to say that her haters’ “opinion of her is irrelevant” because she “loved herself before and she loves herself now.”
Tamara has been very vocal about altering her appearance and has admitted to having breast augmentation, dermal fillers, Botox and a nose job.
The content creator was a crash girlfriend on the 2019 season of MAFS, where she was unsuccessfully paired with Dan Webb.
