Tamar Braxton says therapy helped her join Queen’s Court to find her next love

Tamar Braxton says therapy helped her find her happily ever after on the reality show Queen’s court.

The 46-year-old singer revealed she was engaged in the season finale of reality show Queen’s Court, which premiered on March 16 on Peacock.

The My Man artist met her man, Jeremy ‘JR’ Robinson, 46, on the reality show. The lawyer who had been after her hot and hard from the start.

In an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on FridayThe BET Award winner looked stunning in a black and white Versace outfit.

Tamar, who has been divorced twice, revealed that going through therapy helped her decide to participate in the reality show, in which she and two other women had to choose from 21 different men to be their one and only ‘king’.

‘I’m still in counseling. I feel like that’s something that’s ongoing in one’s life. It’s not just like a period of your life, it’s something you have to continuously work on, that you are yourself and that’s what I do.’

In Queen’s Court, Tamar was one of three high-profile women looking for love, along with former Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada and Complicated singer Nivea. The show was hosted by Rodney Peete and Holly Robinson Peete.

Discussing her efforts to find the perfect man, Tamar said her nine-year-old son, Logan, would sometimes give her “dad vibes” when he was out on a date.

She shares the fourth grade with her ex-husband Vincent Herbert, 50 years old.

Tamar said she thinks Logan is “drawn to the idea” of being part of a blended family.

That’s a good thing, as Tamar posted on Instagram, that she and JR have six children between them.

Now that she’s in a happier place romantically, The One singer and Jennifer shared some dating advice in a Q&A called Tamar’s Takes.

When asked about “arguing with another woman about a man,” Tamar was quick to reply, “We don’t have time for that baby.”

‘If you have to argue about him,’ she continued, ‘He doesn’t belong to you.’

A question about cheating resulted in another strong response.

‘Is there a conversation after we find out? There is no conversation.

As for the younger men, “Well, there’s nothing wrong with a little Junior mint,” he quipped.
