Broadband provider TalkTalk seems to be experiencing a disruption, and customers across the UK report that they cannot access the Internet.

The problems began around 08:50 GMT, according to the Down Detector website, which monitors online interruptions.

While the reason for the interruption remains unclear, 94 percent of those who reported problems said they were struggling to connect to the Internet.

“We are aware that some clients in north-western England around the Liverpool and Manchester area are experiencing navigation problems and may not be able to access the websites,” TalkTalk said in a statement in his service status page.

“We would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused and assure you that we are working to restore the service as a priority.

“There is no need to contact us about this, however, you can check here later for updates, as we will keep you informed about our progress.”
