Tahnee Sims has shared a touching tribute to Johnny Ruffo to mark the one-year anniversary of his tragic death.
The late singer and former Home and Away star died last year with his girlfriend Tahnee by his side after a six-year battle with brain cancer.
On Sunday, Tahnee, 30, who was Johnny’s devoted companion for eight years, posted a gallery of black-and-white images of herself and the actor.
‘A year without you. “It feels like it was yesterday and a lifetime ago at the same time,” he wrote.
‘There are so many things I wish I could tell you, I have wanted to share so many moments with you, So many times I have picked up my phone to call you, But the most important thing I want you to know is that I’m fine.
“The pain is incredibly heavy, but it is the price we pay for love and I am so grateful for all the years we shared together and the life of love and adventures we packed into it.”

Friends flocked to send messages of support and love to Tahnee, with one writing: “Sending lots of love.”

The X Factor star was first diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017, just two years after the couple first met at a dance studio.
In August of that year, he was rushed into surgery and had a 7cm brain tumor surgically removed from his frontal lobe, before undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Johnny went into remission months after his initial diagnosis in 2017, but revealed in November 2020 that the disease had returned.

In August 2022, he confirmed that his brain cancer diagnosis was terminal and said he feared how his girlfriend Tahnee would cope once he was gone.
Sadly he died on November 10, 2023, just a week before Tahnee’s 30th birthday.
Johnny made no secret of the tremendous support he received from Tahnee throughout his cancer journey.
She shared countless gushing posts and credited him with “saving” her life in several media interviews.
Tahnee was the one who took Johnny to the hospital in the first instance after he suffered a series of constant migraines.
