Luke Bryan said he escaped injury during his Saturday night performance in Vancouver by landing on his back while speaking to TMZ.
The 47-year-old artist looked like he slipped on a banana peel when his legs went up in the air while his torso crashed to the floor during a show on Saturday night.
The hitmaker, who became the subject of gleeful ridicule from Ryan Seacrest and Katy Perry, took the fall in stride, claiming that since he had “a lot of meat back there,” he wasn’t particularly sore.
Bryan later said that, as numerous phones were thrown onto the stage while he was performing, he was not sure “if it was the phone or the slippery stage.”

But instead of trying to pretend it never happened, he laughed and even played the footage for his audience.
Luke lay on the ground for a second before sitting up and laughing at his clumsiness.
As the audience laughed with relief with him, he picked up a fan’s cell phone that had been thrown onto the stage at some point.
As he held the phone, he joked, “My lawyers will call.”
As he stood up he said, ‘Wait! Did anyone understand that?
“I have to see it,” Bryan said on his knees, before grabbing the cell phone of a fan in the crowd.
“Oh, you’re doing Snapchat, you can’t Snapchat this s—,” he continued, while introducing the clip to the crowd.
“Let’s get closer, let’s get closer,” he said, before shouting a vigorous “yes” as he watched him fall like a cartoon character slipping on a banana peel.
The fall occurred between songs while the Crash My Party singer-songwriter was promoting his upcoming song.
Bryan is on the Canadian leg of his Mind of a Country Boy tour, which concludes its first leg on April 24 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Last week, the Play it Again singer admitted his eyes were red because he was suffering from an allergy, not because he was smoking marijuana, which some fans had assumed was the reason for his bloodshot eyes.
The allergy is actually due to fishing, as he is allergic to bass.
“Just so we know, if I do interviews and I look like I’ve been smoking marijuana, that’s not true.” I’ve been playing bass,” she said in an interview with Kate Neal for Audacity.

Fortunately, Luke was unharmed in the incident and had a sense of humor about it.
Bryan continued: ‘If I touch a bass, my eyes will turn red, my hands will swell if I have to take the hook out. I’ll get in front. I’m like, ‘I know I’m going fishing today,’ so I’ll have an Allegra in the morning.”
He has had allergies his entire life, but was only officially diagnosed when he was older.
“My dad would take me on these fishing trips and I would be in the back of the boat panting, maybe needing an EpiPen,” he recalled.
“My dad told me, ‘Hang in there,’ we thought it was allergies. [to] the trees, but he’s actually playing bass.
