American pop music sensation SZA nearly walked out of one of her Australian concerts mid-performance due to “crazy” crowd behavior.
The incident occurred during their first concert at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday night.
Several attendees captured images of young Australians throwing objects at the stage.
Some even reportedly threw shoes and cell phones at the singer before SZA addressed the situation and called out the Australian crowd.
“I’ll go,” he said. ‘Don’t vomit any cell phone, I’m a person. That’s crazy,” SZA said as he scolded the crowd while he held up an object that was thrown at him.

Another disruptive fan attempted to do a handstand in the raised seating area, but lost his balance and fell onto another fan.
There were also other cases of bad behavior at the concert.

SZA fans went on a rampage over the crowd’s behavior on social media.
“I honestly don’t understand why fans throw things away honestly,” one wrote.
“Melbourne is ruining everything, behaving like it has ugly, muggy weather,” wrote a second.
“You had a bloody job in Melbourne, now she won’t want to come back to Australia,” added a third.
A fourth said: “Concert etiquette has gone out the window.” They should be ashamed of themselves.
Another added: “Disgusting.”

This is not the first time the behavior of Australian crowds has been criticised.
Dozens of stories were shared online over the course of Taylor Swift’s seven Australian shows about drunk people ‘ruining’ some fans’ nights and even others considering selling out early.
‘Good advice for fans! Please don’t drink too much and, a) vomit on the people sitting in front of you, b) have your friends kick you out with your missing shoes before the show has even started,” one woman said after Saturday’s show.
“You’ve ruined your night, your friends’ night, and worse, some poor unsuspecting fans (and they were two separate occasions).”
One ticket holder said a woman vomited twice during the course of the show, while another said someone spilled eight drinks on her and the woman sitting next to her, as well as their belongings.
“She kept hitting us in the head while we were dancing drunk and then she fell asleep halfway through the concert,” she said.
Taylor Swift fans criticized concert-goers for “wasting” their tickets by getting intoxicated at Eras shows. One person said she was vomited on before the star went on stage.
Another said something similar happened to her: she “vomited everywhere” during Sabrina Carpenter’s support act’s set.
‘There was also hardly any help from the staff. “I couldn’t exchange any friendship bracelets overnight because it smelled so bad and I stayed away,” she reported.
Australian fans were also criticized by American rapper Tyler The Creator, when his 2022 show was repeatedly interrupted by members of the crowd singing ‘Shoey’.
After the irritated star declared “no, I don’t give in to peer pressure,” many revelers began shouting “boo.”
As boos rang out, the rapper compromised and offered to spit on his leg, causing the crowd to erupt into enthusiastic cheers.
Taken aback by her cheerful response, Tyler said, “You’re all fucking weird.”
Many called for the shoey to be banned from attending concerts following the uproar.
“It’s so boring and embarrassing every time an Australian crowd does this,” one said.
