An officer and four policemen were injured on Wednesday as a result of a vehicle explosion inside their duty station in Damascus, according to the Syrian Ministry of Interior, without clarifying the circumstances of the explosion.
“A police vehicle exploded within the campus of the Barzeh Police Station in Damascus, injuring an officer and four policemen, with varying injuries,” the ministry said in a statement posted on the Telegram app.
She stated that the injured were taken to the hospital, while “investigations are still ongoing to uncover the circumstances of the accident.”
