Sylvester Stallone posted a steamy shirtless throwback with wife Jennifer Flavin to celebrate her 56th birthday this week.
The 78-year-old movie star married Jennifer in 1997 and they are the proud parents of three daughters: Sophia, 27, Sistine, 26, and Scarlet, 22.
About two years ago, they shocked the public by announcing that they were planning to divorce after 25 years as husband and wife.
Then, in a surprising turn of events, it emerged that they had decided to give their marriage another chance after working through their issues.
Now Sylvester has recalled the early years of their relationship by posting a touching snap of the two of them in swimsuits on a boat.

Sylvester was wearing nothing but a pair of swimming trunks, showing off his marble-cut torso and powerful legs to the fullest as he leaned against the railing.
Meanwhile, Jennifer was dressed in a tight black one-piece swimsuit that showed off her slender figure and left her sensational legs exposed.
In the Instagram album he posted for Jennifer’s birthday, the Rambo star also posted photos of them walking hand in hand and cuddling together on a couch.
“Happy Birthday to my wife, Jennifer! Both me and the kids think you are absolutely amazing. We will love you forever!” he gushed in the caption.
Jennifer was just 19 when she met Sylvester in 1988, when he was already a world-famous movie star, twice divorced and in his 40s.
They made it red carpet official in 1990, only to split in 1994 when Sylvester shockingly ended the relationship via a FedEx letter.
“He sent me a six-page letter, handwritten in pen. It was pretty sloppy,” Jennifer said. Peoplein an article claiming that he had cheated on her with Janice Dickinson.
They eventually got back together in 1995 and welcomed their eldest daughter the following year, before marrying in 1997.

However, the following month, reports began to circulate that she had agreed to take him back and that the couple were in the process of repairing their relationship.
After he and Jennifer reunited, Sylvester gave a revealing interview to the London television show. Sunday morning on how their marriage was ultimately saved.
“There was an awakening of what is more valuable than anything, which is my love for my family,” the muscle-bound Rocky explained. “It takes priority over my job, and that was a hard lesson to learn.”
She revealed that early in her career she tended to put work before her children, saying: “I didn’t pay enough attention to them when they were growing up.”
He said: ‘I was very career-oriented, and now I’m like, ‘Well, I don’t have much of a path ahead of me, and I want to start asking them about their lives.’
He recalls: “I ask them how their day was and at first they start off with a bit of monosyllables. Then I heard one say, ‘I was thinking about you.’ Oh my God. I’ve never heard that in my life. When a daughter knows you care about her, she’s there for you forever.”
