Sydney Trains has warned commuters to expect delays this morning due to urgent signal repairs at Harris Park in western Sydney.

Passengers on the T1 North Shore, T2 Cumberland, T7 Olympic Park and Blue Mountains lines must allow additional time to travel.

Services are currently not running on the T5 Cumberland line.

“Trains are not running on the T5 Cumberland line due to urgent signal repairs at Harris Park,” Sydney Trains said in an update on X.

You will need to take a train to Granville or Lidcombe and change there to complete the journey. Please allow enough additional time for travel.

Several services operate with reduced frequency on Monday morning.

‘Today I took the train very early because I had to get to work early. “I should be in Kingswood by now, but I’m still stuck in Homebush,” one traveler wrote on X.

“It is problematic that on a Monday the only advice is to leave more time when so many people have to start their work week.”

Sydney Trains said no replacement buses had been requested.
