Sydney teen Elle Manolas, 14, missing as fears grow for her welfare: Maroubra Beach

Fears for girl, 14, who disappeared after leaving school at a famous surf spot

A desperate search is underway for a missing teen who disappeared after dropping out of high school.

Elle Manolas, 14, was last seen at 2pm on Thursday leaving South Sydney High School on O’Sullivan Avenue near Maroubra Beach.

Her family reported the teen missing when she failed to return home.

Police said there are concerns about Elle’s well-being due to her age.

The Inner West Police Command is asking everyone to report sightings of the missing teen and any information that could lead to her being found.

Elle is described as slim and tall, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with long brown hair.

She has brown eyes and has a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance.

The teenager is known to hang out in Lewisham, Burwood, Liverpool and Canley Vale.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
