When it came to wedding plans, Sweeney explained in late December last year that she hadn’t had much time to start sorting out the details of the nuptials.

The couple’s Florida getaway comes just weeks after she wrapped production on the highly anticipated Christy Martin biopic, which chronicles Martin’s rise as America’s top female boxer in the 1990s.
To let fans know that filming has wrapped, Sweeney posted a touching tribute to Martin and shared photos of his incredible physical transformation for the film.
Instead of her blonde curls and busty dresses, Sweeney adopted a bold, athletic look for the film and strengthened her typically slender body.
She also included a snap of herself with Martin, 56, on set in the post.
In the caption, Sweeney described the experience as “one of the most emotional and transformative” of his life, and praised Martin’s resilience.
“Christy’s journey is deeply inspiring and having her by my side during this process was nothing short of surreal,” he wrote. “Knowing what she’s endured, what she’s had to overcome to be there in that moment, it made me want to cry.”
Sweeney was seen in March before stepping up to play Christy Martin.
