A sovereign citizen has been ridiculed for placing a sign in front of his house warning trespassers that they will be fined 330 ounces of silver.
The sign was placed on the front fence of the Sydney home warning visitors of the immediate consequences if they trespassed on the property without permission.
The strange sign not only threatened a fine in the form of payments in silver, but also quoted the Nuremberg Code and the Bible.
The Nuremberg Code is a set of principles that were created after World War II and is intended to guide ethical human experimentation.
It is frequently misused by anti-covid-19 vaccines and sovereign citizens to insist that they are exempt from local laws.
A sovereign citizen has been ridiculed for placing a sign in front of his house warning trespassers that they will be fined 330 oz in silver.
A passerby took a photograph of the sign attached to the fence outside the Sydney property.
‘Private Property, Notice of Leasing,’ the sign said in bold type.
‘The transfer is applied without prior consent or private invitation.
‘Entry to this property is strictly by invitation or appointment or trespassing applies. Admission to this property is consent to this notice.
The sign then threatens trespassers with a 330-ounce silver fine.
He then quotes a portion of the Nuremberg Code and a passage from Ephesians, the tenth book of the New Testament.
Social media users mocked the sign, pointing out various flaws.
‘How are you going to enforce private property rights without a state?’ wrote one.
A second added: “Most likely, they are sovereign citizens who are under the impression that the law doesn’t apply to them, but it does apply to you if you do something wrong with them.”
Another quipped: “Just tell them you’re a sovereign citizen and their laws don’t apply to you.”
“One can hope that this resident never gets his deliveries,” added a third.
