Sydney man is stabbed ‘multiple times’ in the head in horror attack in Homebush

One man was stabbed in the head ‘several times’ while another was punched in the shoulder after a fight with a group of men in Sydney.

Police and paramedics were called to Park Rd in Homebush, west of the city, around 12:35 a.m. due to reports of a brawl.

One man, 48, was found with ‘significant’ stab wounds to his head, while the other man, 20, had a shoulder wound.

Two suspects – believed to be between 20 and 30 years old – fled in a Silver Volvo.

The victims “experienced severe bleeding from their injuries,” said NSW Ambulance Inspector Dominic Wong

Police initially administered first aid to the men before paramedics arrived and brought the bleeding under control.

The men were taken to Westmead Hospital in serious but stable condition

A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that four people were involved in the altercation that led to the stabbings.

“Auburn Police Area Command officers found two men with stab wounds,” the spokesman said

One of the suspects is said to have an Asian appearance, a slim build and dark clothing.

The other is described as having an Asian appearance, a stocky build, a black hat and pink shoes.

“Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident,” the spokesman said.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
