A devastating house fire left four roommates without a house and & # 39; nothing but the clothes on their back & # 39 ;.
Their Avalon house, on Sydney's northern beaches, was on fire on Saturday afternoon and was completely stripped.
Elise Coulter, her partner, little sister and best friend had rented the house for a year and a half before it burned down.

They had left home while their broker showed it to potential buyers.
& # 39; The broker called us and said: & # 39; Your house is on fire, I literally watch it burn down & # 39; and I think she caught our dog and ran down, & # 39; Coulter told Daily Mail Australia.
She said the fire had ripped through the house within five minutes.
& # 39; We didn't know it would be the whole house, but everything we owned was burnt to a crispy & she said, including thousands in furniture.
& # 39; My partner's grandfather has died and he has retained his piano accordion that has been in the family for generations. It was something very sentimental for him, & she said.
The firefighters tried to help them save some things – including clothing, a guitar, and two passports.

Mrs Coulter said the fire is still unclear and they are waiting for the reports.
She said they are currently surfing the couch and trying to plan what will come after them, but they are overwhelmed by the support.
& # 39; It was overwhelming. It was pretty moving and they give, & she said.
& # 39; We have friends who drop bags of clothing. And now there is suddenly a Go Fund Me page, which is great because we are currently homeless and do not know what is going on with any form of insurance. & # 39;

Video images of the house made of wood and metal showed that nothing was left when they visited the remainder of the structure.
One of the women who lived in the part-house, Ella Dixon, went to Facebook on Monday to thank the firefighters and the community.
& # 39; I just want to thank everyone. The love support and excessive amount of toothbrushes and extra underwear are greatly appreciated, & she said.
& # 39; Years of accumulated c *** have now gone up in smoke, but it is our c *** and we loved it.

& # 39; We are safe and have each other and that helps us through. & # 39;
The eruption started on Saturday just before 1:30 pm and within ten minutes there were firefighters on the scene.
The two-story house needed nine trucks to extinguish the fire that had reached the roof of the house.
Police, ambulance and the power company were also at the fire and no injuries were reported.
& # 39; Today our good friends Reggie, Elise, Ella and Lauren left there and returned to a place that our family unfortunately experienced, & # 39; wrote down a friend Go to Fund me.
& # 39; There the house literally burned to the ground, leaving them with nothing but the clothes behind it. Unfortunately, all four of them had no household insurance. & # 39;
& # 39; Please help us make this incredibly difficult journey a little easier and donate as much as possible. & # 39;
