A couple accused of having sex in a busy public park across the street from a primary school have been charged.
The police were called to Stanmore, in the southwest of Sydney, on Monday at 8.30 am to report that a man and a woman were reportedly performing a sex act in Weekley Park.
At that time there were a number of parents and children who arrived at St. Michael’s Catholic primary school in or near the park.

A 39-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested on the spot.
The man was reportedly also found with methamphetamine and cannabis after being searched by the police and the couple was taken to the Newtown police station.
The man was accused of intentional and obscene behavior, offensive behavior and prohibited drugs.
He was granted on bail to appear at the Newtown Local Court on February 24.
The woman was accused of offensive behavior and was given bail to appear at the Newtown Local Court on March 12.
