Ms Chan told Daily Mail Australia that she was inspired to try the dish after seeing a garlic and honey pizza on the menu at Newtown, Westwood pizzeria.

“I have no idea if my creation tasted anything like Westwood’s pizza, but it looked really great!” she said.

A TikTok video Ms Chan created the dish, which has been viewed 2.3 million times since it was uploaded online on July 19, quickly sparked hundreds of bewildered responses.

“I just ran and made a slice and wow, it’s actually that good,” one woman replied.

Ms Chan replied, “Probably not healthy, but I’ve had this every day for breakfast for about two weeks!”
