An Australian bakery has created an insanely decadent croissant filled with chocolate and salted caramel ganache and a rich toasted marshmallow topping.
The ‘S’mores Croissant’ is the latest limited-edition creation from Banksia Bakehouse, a boutique cafe in Sydney CBD known for its rotating menu of experimental desserts.
Finished with a dusting of biscuit crumbs, meringue, and edible gold pearls, the $12 pastry is available for suburban pickup and delivery within a 7.5-mile radius of the bakery on Grosvenor Place.
But you have to be quick if you want to get your hands on it, because it’s only on the menu from Friday 27 August to Sunday 29 August.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon the day before if you want the croissant to be delivered to your door between 9 am and 1 pm.
Fans have been salivating over the indulgent creation ever since the bakery announced the launch of the new flavor on Instagram late Wednesday night, with one woman calling it a “masterpiece.”
A second wrote: ‘That’s what I call a chocolate croissant!’
Open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm to incarcerated Sydneysiders living within 3 miles, the bakery is known for using locally grown ingredients from Australian producers whenever possible.

The website is full of a smorgasbord of treats, perfect for treating yourself or your loved ones stuck in the ninth week of the Sydney lockdown, which began on June 26 to prevent a cluster of cases caused by the Covid Delta strain in destroy the east of the city.
Some of the most tempting options include the “Sweet As Care Package,” which includes a cramington, cinnamon swirl, lemon pound cake, flourless chocolate brownie, and two Nutella cookies for $50.
Another highlight is the weekend-only $55 “Lockdown Care Package,” which includes a regular croissant, a vegemite and cheese croissant, a s’mores croissant, a blueberry cheesecake cruffin, a lemon tart, a cookie, and a brownie.
Orders for contactless delivery must be passed on at the bakery a day in advance website.
