Swimmer is found unconscious and face down in the water off Manly Beach as witnesses report seeing TWO people ‘in trouble’

A person is in critical condition after being found face down on a popular Sydney beach.
The NSW Ambulance Service confirmed that a man was found unconscious in the water off Shelly Beach.
He was retrieved from the water and treated by paramedics.
Early reports suggest two people got into trouble on the cliff side of Shelly Beach.
An observer said the two people were diving in the area.

“We understand that two people in distress are in the water,” a spokeswoman for NSW told Surf Life Saving The male daily.
She said two lifeguards from Manly were quickly on the scene to help people in the water.
“There are male lifeguards and a duty officer from the Surf Lifesaving branch.”
