Swifties have collapsed after images of Taylor Swift appearing nursing a cold during her first show in Singapore went viral.

The megastar, 34, who recently wrapped up her Australian tour, was seen coughing while performing her hit song Delicate at the National Stadium on Saturday night.

Fans are worried that this could be a sign that Swift will cancel the rest of her Eras world tour due to illness.

“Looks like she’s not feeling her best…girl needs some rest,” one wrote, while another added: “She should cancel the rest of the shows for health reasons.”

“He needs a break,” lamented another, while someone else agreed: “The tour is taking a toll on his health.”

Swift will perform three more shows in Singapore before flying to France to continue her world tour.

It comes as Southeast Asian Swifties have been furious that Swift made just one stop in the area in controversial circumstances.

Singapore is Swift’s only stop in Southeast Asia, after it was reported that the country is paying the pop star $4.3 million per show to perform there exclusively.

“Singapore paid a considerable amount so that no other Southeast Asian country could have its chances,” one fan complained on social media.

“We should boycott Singapore and Taylor,” wrote another.

“It’s typical Singaporean behaviour: they’ll do anything to antagonize their neighbours,” complained another.

Swift’s grant from the Singapore Tourism Board to bring her tour to the wealthy nation sparked a row between neighboring countries.

Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin last month accused Singapore of paying Swift millions per concert to exclusively secure her, something he discovered after the deal was closed.

Speaking at the Bangkok iBusiness Forum 2024, Thavisin said: “The Singapore government is smart. “They told me not to do any more shows in Asia.”

The Thai prime minister called Singapore’s move “shrewd”, adding that he had long wondered why Swift had not opted to play in Thailand.

The Singapore shows are likely to be a boom for the economy. Swift has sold out six nights at the 55,000-capacity National Stadium this month.
