Taylor Swift fans have shared their anger after learning dozens of tickets were given away to the pop star’s concerts in Sydney.
Tickets, many of them for prime seats, were handed out at the Accor Stadium minutes before, and even during the show, to hopeful fans waiting outside.
Some were given away by Taylor Nation, a fan group known for giving away concert tickets to missed Swifties, but some are believed to have been given away by venue staff and even members of the pop star’s entourage.

Several told stories of how mysterious men in black shirts approached them outside the venue and gave them tickets for good seats.

Other fans discovered that tickets were available for purchase shortly before and even during the concert via Ticketek’s original lounge link, despite being sold out on Ticketek’s main website.
All of this has drawn the ire of Swifties who missed out.
‘Why the hell does Ticketek have tickets so close to the concert?!’ asked one person on TikTok.
“Ticketek really needs an investigation into how they ruined this whole tour,” said another.

‘I just find it annoying! I would have loved to go to the Sydney show even if the seat was shit, I don’t know if I would have been lucky enough to get one,” wrote one more person.
‘You got to be kidding!! I couldn’t even get past buffering during each launch. Very unfair. “Ticketek has a lot to answer for,” someone else commented.
“At 7:40 p.m. there were so many tickets available for last night’s show that I don’t understand it,” complained another.
“We got tickets five minutes before the show started, but there were a lot of empty seats in reservation A and around us throughout the show,” one more wrote.
‘Yes, I went on Friday and there were a lot of empty seats at the bottom, the stands and even the floor. “I was shocked,” someone else said.
Some fans were furious with Ticketek, but others pointed out that Ticketek was not behind the distribution of free tickets.

“The thing is, Ticketek wasn’t throwing away the tickets, one of Taylor’s entourage was just handing them out to people,” one said.
