Sven-Goran Eriksson’s life could be adapted for the big screen after Warner Brothers ‘took an interest’ in the late England manager, who died in August.
A deal was previously reached to turn Sven’s epic life and career into a possible movie, but only now have rumors begun to circulate about future projects.
According The mirrorSven’s agent, Bo Gustavsson, said: ‘There are ideas about movies. Warner Brothers has the option to make a movie about Sven. We’ll see how things develop.’
The late Swedish footballer turned coach passed away aged 76 after battling cancer on August 26 this year, following the release of his latest autobiography, A Wonderful Journey.
Now it remains to be decided who will play the main star, as well as his various love interests, which include Ulrika Jonsson, Nancy Dell’Olio and Faria Alam.

According to The Mirror, Sven’s agent Bo Gustavsson said: ‘There are movie ideas. Warner Brothers has the option of making a movie about Sven. We’ll see how things develop.’
The football legend had a successful career in club management between 1977 and 2001 after playing as a right-back.
In his time as manager he won 18 trophies with a variety of league clubs in Sweden, Portugal and Italy.
Marking the special occasion, Sven’s dear childhood friend and author Bengt Berg revealed that “there is more to come.”
The poet, who helped Sven write his autobiography, revealed that he has many “remnants of his recordings.”
He told the publication: ‘I have many hours recorded that are not in the book and I am thinking about what form this material can take.
“It could be something like a mixture of images, poems and texts in a collection, something completely different and independent of A Wonderful Journey.”
In his revealing biography, Sven admitted he was on the brink of bankruptcy after losing £10million of his fortune at the hands of a financial adviser whom he took to court.
The Swedish manager had several high-paying jobs during his coaching career, the most memorable being his five-year spell as Three Lions boss between 2001 and 2006.
