Following the death of Suzanne Somers, tributes have been pouring in from all kinds of Hollywood icons, and now her beloved granddaughter Violet has penned her tribute.
The 25-year-old fashion designer – the daughter of Suzanne’s only son Bruce Somers Jr. and his wife Caroline – took to Instagram on Monday.
She shared the “last birthday card” she wrote to her beloved “Zannie” on October 14, just one day before she passed away on October 15 at the age of 76, and one day before what would have been her 77th birthday.
‘Dear Zannie, ‘Thank you’ is not enough. You made me feel so loved. I know you’ll pass away peacefully, but I miss you already,” Violet began.
“I will miss your handwriting in thick black ink on birthday cards. And satin ribbons on gifts. “I’ll miss seeing you eat cake and wolf down an extra piece because you just love sweets,” she continued.

“I will miss hearing your voice, your singing at the dinner table. Fearless. Unstoppable. I don’t know where you’re going, but I hope you can sing there,” she added.
She then listed some of her favorite songs to sing, such as A Song For You by Leon Russell, Someone to Watch Over Me by Ella Fitzgerald and Frim Fram Sauce by Ella Fitzgerald and Louie Armstrong.
‘I wish you a warm welcome to the other realm. I’m sure there will be light, and you will follow it and see everyone you’ve ever known,” she said.
She then listed the people she would see, such as: “Grammy and Ducky, Michael, Sissy, Lewis, Boo Boo, Sissy, Merv Griffin, Grandpa Tony, Jean-Pierre and John Ritter.”
‘And I’m sure it will feel like a warm hug, or like being in the womb again. You will be so loved. And one day when I go, you will be the first person I will hug. “We’re going to cook together again, go shopping, and eat Thanksgiving dinner and every pie you can imagine,” she said.
‘I hope you can relax for a moment. Your legacy will remain here, and I will always keep you with me. I know that at times you will guide me when I need you, and at times as a surprise,” she continued.
“You visit me as a yellow butterfly or whatever you want. I know you wanted to see my babies, but I guess we all have our own plan, and it’s all a beautiful mystery,” she added.
“Just know that we are here and we love you. “Thank you” could never disguise the gratitude. This is how it goes…I love you more than you know. Happy Birthday Zanni. Love, Violet,” she concluded.

Relax: ‘I hope you’ll just relax. Your legacy will remain here, and I will always keep you with me. I know that at times you will guide me when I need you, and at times as a surprise,” she continued
