Sutton Stracke finally revealed what caused her medical emergency while taping the season 13 reunion of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Just weeks after denying the health scare was alcohol-related on social media, the 52-year-old TV personality shared what caused her to start shaking violently and struggling to breathe with her co-stars during the three-part reunion.

After being taken to the emergency room via an ambulance, the reality star said Page six that she was diagnosed with exhaustion and dehydration.

‘I ended up suffering from exhaustion, which sounds stupid but it’s a real thing. And dehydration,’ she explained.

The Georgia native explained, ‘I was working a lot between New York and LA, back and forth, working on my new company, Sutton Brands.’

In addition, she ended up suffering from a ‘severe case’ of bronchitis which set back her recovery.

‘I was really down for about 10 days. I had to shut down my life, which is very difficult for me,’ she admitted. ‘And it took about six weeks for me to feel 100 per cent again.’

Air travel can be extremely dehydrating.

Even mild cases of dehydration can cause headaches, dizziness and fatigue.

Meanwhile, fatigue symptoms, which range from physical, mental and emotional, can include chronic fatigue, achy or sore muscles, slower reflexes and moodiness.

Reflecting on the terrifying ordeal, Stracke said host Andy Cohen ‘called doctors the right way’ before waiting for a doctor to determine if she needed to go to the hospital.

“I ended up going to the ER with really one of my best friends, Garcelle (Beauvais),” she noted. ‘She stayed with me in the ER the whole time, which I can’t thank her enough (for).’

He also pointed out that she was shaking and ‘really shaking’.

“Can we call someone?” asked Beauvais.

After the event, Stracke said ‘it was a reality check for how’ she should ‘treat’ her body.’

“It was a very scary moment for me,” she explained.

In February, Stracke quickly shut down speculation that her medical emergency was alcohol-related.

Responding to a tweet that insinuated the socialite appeared to be showing signs of alcohol withdrawal, the mother-of-three quickly denied her symptoms were caused by booze detox.

‘That wasn’t the problem. Stop this false narrative,” she told the social user, who has since deleted their tweet, asking if her ‘shaking’ was a ‘sign of alcohol withdrawal’.

Sutton has previously revealed that she has an ‘oesophageal disorder’ where she can ‘choke’ when she swallows food or even her own saliva.
