Ben Shephard left Susanna Reid – and viewers of Good Morning Britain – gobsmacked on Thursday morning when he performed a bizarre stunt with fellow anchor Kate Garraway.
The TV anchor tried to spot actress Kate Beckinsale who posted a video on social media last week that she had stretched her leg back by her personal trainer.
But Ben & # 39; s skirt left Susanna in disbelief when he pushed a fake leg on Kate as she leaned back in her chair.
Pushing his leg on top of Kate, the morning anchor raised eyebrows in the studio and on Twitter.
& # 39; Looks a bit rude to my corner, but think they enjoyed the moment! & # 39; A person has noticed on the micro blogging site.
& # 39; OMG Ben then looks like a naughty schoolboy, & # 39; placed another.
& # 39; It seems that Ben personally stretches something else! & # 39; someone else tweeted.
The skit was based on Kate [Beckinsale] who left her friends and fans in shock and awe after she showed her impressive flexibility on Instagram in a video that suggested she had a fake leg.
The London-born mother-of-one seemed to face physical limitations when she shared the candid clip in which she was stretched out by her personal trainer in the gym – a seemingly innocent exercise that caused a frenzy among her Instagram fans.
In the video, Kate, 46, is lying on her back on a massage table, while her trainer lifts her right leg up in the air before bending it over and over her head, causing many of her followers to complain that they even have their own cannot touch toes.

Laughing: stretching after a workout can be painful at best, but a mother's mother just laughed while her leg reached the top of the physio bench behind her
Kate and her trainer Brad Siskind joked while stretching her in the now viral clip, which has been viewed more than 1.6 million times – and many reactions from shocked viewers.
Without a grimace, Kate & # 39; s leg stuck back so far that her toes reached the top of the couch on which she rested.
Brad also raised her leg to one side and left her in a virtual split, while she remained there with a smile on her face, completely surprised.
At one point, Kate even jokingly tickled her armpit armpit while concentrating on the piece.

Viral: More than 1.6 million people have watched the video of Bendy Kate, which commentators nicknamed & # 39; Gumby & # 39; and & # 39; Stretch Armstrong & # 39; had received
Confused commentators weighed in, not sure if the video was real or not.
Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn said: & # 39; Ok gummbie & # 39 ;, referring to Gumby, a stretchy clay-animated character from the 1950s.
Actress Selma Blair simply said: & # 39; Wowza & # 39; while Orange is the new black star. Laverne Cox said: & # 39; Stretch !!!! & # 39;
& # 39; I knew it was a fake bone all the time! I finally have the proof that I need. You will soon hear from my lawyer, & said comedian Moses Storm sarcastically.
Socialite and jewelry designer Markus Molinari from Los Angeles also joked: & # 39; I don't do enough & # 39; while British actress Patsy Palmer joked: & # 39; That's not a real leg! & # 39;

Other Instagram users came in and wondered: & # 39; Should people bend like this? & # 39;
& # 39; Wow. Impressive but also a little scary, & another one said.
A male user added that trainer Brad was a happy man.
& # 39; How do you get this job? Is there an application? Does he pay you? I have questions, & the user commented.
Although many people wondered if it was a fake leg or if there were some CGI tricks in the game in the video, it seems that Kate is simply incredibly flexible by nature.
Despite the fact that she has no background as a dancer, she has kept her in combat for almost the majority of two decades of training for her roles in action films such as Van Helsing and the Underworld franchise.
She is practicing: the actress may not have a background in gymnastics or dancing, but it seems that for years she has improved her flexibility skills as she is routinely seen in the splits

Kate routinely publishes photos & # 39; s of her with gymnastic-style movements such as splitting and high stairs to her 3.4 million followers on Instagram.
One photo shows her posing with her daughter Lily Sheen, 20, who apparently inherited the flexibility of her mother.
Kate sees the photo in a jazz split on the floor, while Lily holds a standing split against the wall of their home in Los Angeles.
And although she likes to train and has no lack of insight into her exhausting fitness routine on Instagram, Kate also shows the humorous side of it.
A video on her social media channel in June showed her joking in the gym, unpacking a series of weighted squats while floating over a toilet.
She told followers that Gunnar Peterson, the owner of a gym, had installed the toilet to ensure that people kept their shape just right while performing squats.
