Susanna Reid broke her silence on Strictly Come Dancing’s harassment investigation as she spoke out in a candid new interview on Sunday.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 53, appeared on the show in 2013 and came second with her dance partner Kevin Clifton.
Last year, a dark cloud fell over the BBC show after Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington made allegations against her partner Giovanni Pernice.
The BBC confirmed six of the 17 allegations and publicly apologized to Amanda, although Giovanni was cleared of the most serious allegations.

Susanna Reid broke her silence on Strictly Come Dancing’s harassment investigation as she spoke out in a candid new interview on Sunday (seen with partner Kevin Clifton in 2013).
During the interview, he also admitted that he “doesn’t know” Phillip Schofield and that he “didn’t watch” his survival show.
But he added of the show’s controversy: “It’s like being on a different planet, because everything shines, and that’s why it’s a shame other people don’t.”
“I think it’s very important that if people have had a bad experience that they are addressed and supported.”
During the interview, he also talked about working at the ITV studios near where This Morning is filmed, but said it doesn’t have much to do with the daytime show.
When asked if she had seen former This Morning host Phillip Schofield’s recent survival show, she bluntly told the publication: “I haven’t seen it and I don’t know him.”
Last month, Phillip revealed he had secretly filmed a three-part special series for Channel 5, which required him to give up the comforts of home to do some soul-searching on a tropical island in the Indian Ocean.
It was the first time she had appeared on television since leaving ITV’s This Morning in May 2023 after admitting to a relationship with a much younger colleague.
After the affair was revealed, his co-host on the show at the time, Holly Willoughby, reportedly cut all ties with him.
Susanna said she felt ITV had dealt with the scandal and that “it seems like we’ve moved on”.

It comes after Susanna sent a touching and emotional message to Liam Payne’s family live on Good Morning Britain late last month.
Liam, 31, who rose to fame after forming One Direction, died on October 16 after falling from his balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
During the delivery, Susanna and Richard Arnold, 34, spoke about the tragedy and shared that the singer’s family is in their hearts.
Susanna, who is also a mother of two, said: ‘I want to send all our love to his family.
‘What more can you say?
“They are in our hearts right now.”
His heartfelt message came after the hosts discussed the price of being famous and in the public eye.
They revealed that there is a common belief that in show business many fans think that “fame will protect them.”
They both disagreed and said fame can be a ‘poisoned chalice’.
“It’s quite the opposite,” they said.
Richard added: ‘Fame can be a poisoned chalice. If you look at, say, the Beatles, they took their time. This happened very quickly.’
During the interview, he also talked about working at the ITV studios near where This Morning is filmed, but said it doesn’t have much to do with the daytime show or Phillip (seen with co-presenter Holly Willoughby).
