Surviving winner Parvati Shallow has filed for a temporary restraining order for domestic violence protection against her estranged husband John Fincher, just days after she filed for divorce from him.

Fincher, 38, has asked a judge to shoot down Parvati’s protection request, and in his response describes a heated argument he allegedly had with his estranged wife on Aug. 20. House.

Police “interrogated the adults in the house” and “made no arrests,” according to Us Weekly, citing court documents.

Fincher insisted he had no “physical contact” with his estranged wife that night.

“I have never hit, kicked, pushed or otherwise had any physical contact with Parvati” [that night]said Fincher.

“I felt really scared, like he’s crossed a line and his anger has overtaken him and he can’t stop himself,” she wrote.

Parvati said she “didn’t feel safe going anywhere” with her ex that night, claiming he encouraged her to kill herself. She also claims that he told her he hoped she would kill herself.

Before decisions regarding the custody and visitation orders that Parvati sought were finalized by the court, Fincher said he should be “given an opportunity to be heard.”

In a candid Instagram post shared Monday, Parvati opened up about the turbulence she’d been going through lately.

‘I’m having a really hard time right now. In times of great challenges, I’ve learned to slow down and look at things moment by moment,” she captioned a photo of her holding hands peacefully with other women.

“My priority now is to create a courageous, loving and safe space for me and my daughter so that I can appear with calm presence, strength of heart and resilience as we go through this difficult time,” she continued, along with the hashtag ‘we can do difficult things.’

In 2009, Fincher took part in Survivor: Samoa, in which he was memorably betrayed by one of the show’s most notorious villains, Russell Hantz.

Parvati and John started dating in 2013 after meeting at a charity event hosted by Survivor: Africa winner Ethan Zohn. They became engaged in January 2017 and tied the knot later that year.

In July 2018, Shallow gave birth to Ama. In 2020, Parvati spoke about leaving her daughter at home to return to Survivor for the fourth time.
