A new star has emerged as the Strictly Come Dancing favourite, according to bookmakers.
Current favorites include Tasha Ghouri, Jamie Borthwick and Chris McCausland, all of whom are candidates to take home the trophy.
But now the odds have changed and a surprising star has emerged as the fan favorite to lift the Glitterball.
Sarah Hadland has risen to the top of the leaderboard, beating Tasha and Jamie, but failing to take down Chris.
According to sportsbooks BetMGM, Miranda star’s odds have improved dramatically thanks to her consistent high scores and impressive performances.

According to the company, Sarah’s odds of winning have changed from 11/2 to 5/2 in just a few days.

A source also revealed that Miranda would love to take part in the BBC show and has been a huge supporter of her friend, taking to her Instagram to share encouraging clips.

If they could tempt Miranda to do it, then they could encourage other big celebrities to do it again. Sarah is their hope because she is very close to Miranda.
On last week’s show, Strictly host Claudia Winkleman said: ‘This is an official message to Miranda Hart. Your wonderful friend will be dancing in exactly 27 minutes and 55 seconds.
Sarah added that Claudia was making it “very clear that she has time to boil the kettle, go to the bathroom, not talk, watch.”
