Suri Cruise looked relaxed and carefree as she strolled through the cold streets of New York City.
The 18-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise sported a sage green quilted jacket and navy blue pants with baggy pockets.
She was wearing a pair of headphones while out and about and carrying a green shopping bag.
Suri’s revelation comes after a source confirmed to DailyMail that Suri, who turned 18 in April, can now access the significant trust fund set up by her famous father.
“It’s part of the divorce agreement that Tom Cruise’s trust fund will be available for his daughter Suri when she turns 18, and it is in fact substantial,” a source revealed, referencing Katie and Tom’s 2012 split after six years of marriage.
Suri has dropped her famous father’s last name, but he reportedly pays her tuition of $65,000 a year, as well as medical, dental and insurance expenses.

In an Instastory posted by the Dawson’s Creek alum, the Carnegie Mellon University freshman sang Happy Birthday while holding an old photo of Robert Redford emblazoned with ‘Happy Birthday, Katie!’
Suri traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to see Katie perform at Our Town and gift her a beautiful bouquet of purple roses.
Katie gushed about her gift to her 2.9 million Instagram followers: ‘I’m so grateful for all my blessings, especially my daughter!’
She also said that she felt ‘so blessed’ to enjoy homemade red velvet cake, French fries and falafel prepared by co-star Bobby Daye.
Our Town marks Katie’s first professional acting gig since playing movie star Julia Cheever in Roundabout Theater Company’s off-Broadway play, Wanderers, which ran from January 26, 2023 to April 2, 2023 in the Laura Pels Theater in Manhattan.
Katie also previously starred in two Broadway productions for The Shubert Organization: Arthur Miller’s All My Sons at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater in 2008-2009 and Theresa Rebeck’s comedy Dead Accounts at the Music Box Theater in 2012-2013.
The Ohio-born beauty is also writing several scripts and has signed on to star in Dito Montiel’s thriller Captivated alongside Al Pacino, and will guest star in the second season of Peacock’s murder mystery Poker Face, directed by Natasha Lyonne.
Last week, Suri surprised her mother Katie (right) backstage at the Barrymore Theater in Midtown Manhattan by serenading her with a happy birthday alongside the cast and crew.
Katie previously spoke about her close bond with Suri on her City and countryside cover story in August.
‘I am proud of my daughter. Of course, I will miss the proximity, but I am very proud of her and happy,” she gushed.
‘I remember being this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to learn about yourself and I loved that moment, so it makes me happy to think about it that way.’
Katie, who did not receive spousal support from her ex-husband Tom, dated Tom’s Collateral co-star Jamie Foxx from 2013 to 2019, and declared that she will not date “any more white girls” in her December 10 Netflix special.
Katie has been single since ending her eight-month romance with bassist Bobby Wooten III in 2022.
