Suri Cruise was seen kissing her boyfriend Toby Cohen during a daytime date in New York on Thursday.
The 18-year-old daughter of actors Katie Holmes, 45, and Tom Cruise, 61, was seen hugging and kissing her love. Toby – Who was she? date at her LaGuardia High School prom last week.
Suri, who now uses her mother’s middle name as her last name, looked smitten as she looked into her boyfriend’s eyes and chatted with him as they enjoyed their vacation before classes began at university.
Cohen is a budding singer and songwriter who will attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston in the fall. Suri, who has been studying dance, will head to Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh.
Suri was the spitting image of mom Katie in Dawson’s Creek as she wore a cropped white shirt, pink shorts and clogs for the day.

The teen wore her brown hair down and apparently had no makeup on.
Suri and Toby looked cute together at prom as they held hands and posed for photos side by side.
Cohen also took the time to take photos of Suri and her friends, all dressed to the nines.
He seemed protective of the budding artist as he took her arm and led her toward the building where the prom was being held.
Suri wore a corset print dress that fell below the knee and strappy gold heels. Toby was wearing a blue suit with brown dress shoes.
There was no sign of Katie outside the prom and Tom, who has been separated from Suri for years, was busy in England with friends when he was seen flying his helicopter towards a London helipad.
This is the first time Suri is seen with a boyfriend.
The teen is usually seen with her mother Katie in New York City shopping and dining together.

Holmes doesn’t typically bring Suri with her to red carpet events, having opted for a more private life for the little girl.
Suri, who was born on April 18, 2006 in Los Angeles, is the daughter of divorced parents.
Holmes married in Italy in November 2006, but after five years of marriage, they separated in 2012.
“My main goal is to let her know how much I love her,” the Dawson’s Creek actress told People in 2014. “Just to let her know that I love her so much.” When that’s the final line, who cares that my first two pancakes are always burnt?

He added that he is setting a positive example for his young son.

“I also try to be very creative with her, because I know she’s an artist and that speaks to the little girl in me,” Holmes said.
‘To be honest, I probably won’t play tag. It’s not my priority, but I’ll paint all day and do creative stuff.’
The couple were seen holding hands as they chatted on the street.
Toby put an arm around Suri as the couple walked down the street.

During an August 2014 appearance on the Today show, Holmes shared, “The most important thing for me is to let her know how proud I am and that her accomplishments mean everything. Whatever she does is whatever. It’s really just about her and that’s what I think is most important.”
Meanwhile, Katie will soon be childless.
Cruise has also hinted at where he will attend college when he wore a Carnegie Mellon University sweatshirt in early June.

Suri, whose famous father was not involved in her upbringing, has always been determined to forge her own path.

Now, with her acceptance into its hallowed halls, a remarkably stylish mother, and a wardrobe said to be worth $5 million, Suri is off to the best possible start if that’s her chosen path.
A source close to her told DailyMail.com: “She’s a smart girl and is developing into a very intelligent mature young woman. She has a very close group of loyal friends and knows exactly where she’s coming from.”
But while Holmes will surely be proud of her daughter’s stellar achievement, sources say she is “overwhelmed” at the thought of sending her little one to college.
One of them recently told DailyMail.com: “Katie is very proud of her, but she is also extremely overprotective.”
Perhaps not surprising given that for the past 11 years, Holmes has effectively raised Suri alone.
Cruise’s only contribution to his daughter’s life has been financial and he has not been seen with her since 2013, after Holmes left both the marriage and the Church of Scientology, the religion to which Cruise is so devoted.
Under their divorce settlement, Cruise agreed to pay Holmes $400,000 a year until Suri turns 18 and will continue to pay her college tuition as well.
Under the terms of his agreement, although he may be physically absent from his daughter’s life, he has and will continue to cover “medical, dental, insurance, educational, college and other extracurricular costs.”
But despite having little to no relationship with her father, Suri is, according to sources, a happy, well-adjusted teenager who has loved growing up in New York City.
Earlier this week she was seen running in the city’s Central Park while enjoying a morning workout in the June sunshine.
She later swapped her workout clothes for a simple white summer dress paired with brown boots as she headed out to dinner in Soho with her mother and grandmother, Kathleen Stomer-Holmes.
The actress, who has created her own capsule collection with French brand APC, wants to become the next celebrity to launch her own beauty line, according to sunday time.
“Absolutely, I would love to,” she told the outlet when asked if cosmetics were part of her future plans.
In recent years, Holmes has focused on making films and gaining more experience on stage.
She wrote the screenplay for, starred in, and directed the 2022 romantic drama Alone Together, about a couple in a bad relationship who end up in the same vacation rental in upstate New York.
That project was followed by 2023’s Rare Objects.
Holmes co-wrote the screenplay, directed and starred in the story of a young woman who recovers from trauma and regains her confidence after finding a job in an antiques store.
“I would like to continue writing and directing my own films,” he told the outlet, adding, “Maybe write some fiction books.”
The actress also returned to the stage in 2023, starring in The Wanderers.
