A drunk Travis Kelce had to be restrained by his Chiefs teammates on the stage of their Super Bowl parade in Kansas City on Wednesday.
Kelce, who helped the Chiefs beat the 49ers in Las Vegas on Sunday, attempted to lead a drunken rendition of Garth Brooks’ 1990 country hit ‘Friends In Low Places’ in front of thousands of Kansas City fans.
The tight end took aim at San Francisco by modifying the lyrics to sing: “It’s my roots to blame, I showed up in boots and I ruined the Niners thing.”
But after a day of partying in Kansas City, Kelce could barely speak as he tried to finish the song, before artists including Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones were forced to intervene to prevent him from falling on stage.
