Supernanny USA viewers in tears as Busy Mom reveals about the loss of a baby after 24 weeks pregnant
Viewers of Supernanny USA burst into tears after a struggling mother suffering from anxiety broke into the loss of her baby when she was 24 weeks pregnant – before admitting she was worried she might one day lose her husband as a firefighter too – because of his dangerous job,
On last night’s episode of the E4 show, Jo Frost helped out the Ostlers, who struggled with two boisterous boys Jax, six, and Kaydin, four, while also mourning the loss of their first child.
But mom Nicole revealed that Dane’s job as a firefighter doesn’t help with her anxiety and often meant taking care of the boys on her own.
“I need things to change so that I’m not afraid of losing something,” she explained. I could lose my husband anytime because he has a very dangerous job. I just feel like I can really lose something – because so much was taken. ‘
And after the heartbreaking scene, teary viewers quickly took to Twitter to call the episode both “ emotional ” and “ relatable. ”

One person wrote on Twitter: ‘I had to bite my lip. Tears in my eyes. I felt what Nicole said ‘(picture)
During the episode Nicole explained, “Jax is such a loving child, but he doesn’t know how to control his emotions.”
Kaydin is our little goofball. He beats his own drum. He’s very, very independent, and I’m like a ghost who cleans their house and cooks the food all the time. ‘
Meanwhile, Dane admitted, “Part of our problem is that I’m not around much. I’m gone about 75% of the time ‘, to which Nicole continued:
“Dane comes and goes, so we don’t know when he’ll be here. When he’s gone, not only am I a full-time mom, I also bill for a care practice, I work all night. I just feel like a single parent.
‘It’s a lot of pressure and stress and everything else that gets on my shoulders. I struggle with discipline everywhere. We’ve tried everything with these guys, but it doesn’t really seem to work.
‘All the fighting, screaming, screaming and kicking and no one is listening. It’s like a constant battle. ‘

And when Supernanny saw a picture of a baby on the wall, Nicole burst into tears and explained, “I was 24 weeks and four days, just starting to give birth. I had placenta previa (which occurs when a baby’s placenta partially or completely covers the mother’s cervix). He lived for about two hours. ‘
Jo turned to the camera and said, “Living with the grief of losing a child, I can’t even imagine it. And with her husband, whose career has consisted of putting out really dangerous fires, you can totally understand why Nicole would feel so much fear every day, ‘
The expert then sat down for a conversation with Nicole about how she could help her move forward.
“You were talking about loss from the loss of a young child,” she explained. “I would like you to go to therapy. You can talk to them about the depth of your trauma.
“But while I’m here, I’d also like to look at things you can do to ease your anxiety.”
And when Jo asked what else she could change besides being more assertive with her kids, Nicole responded emotionally, “Start being okay with who I am.”
One person wrote on Twitter: ‘Mother looked exhausted and I really felt for her. It was clear she loved her boys, but was so tired. Such difficult circumstances too and just ended up in a cycle ‘(photo)
Many viewers used social media to express how they really felt for the brave mom.
Sobbing! Mother looked exhausted and I really felt for her. It was clear she loved her boys, but was so tired. Conditions like that too and just ended up in a cycle, ‘wrote one, while a second wrote:
‘Loved this Jo. What a powerful tool you have lent this mother. With a man gone and two little boys, she forgets that she always had strength in her. ‘
A third added: so recognizable! It was like looking at myself and glad you helped this family on TV. You are great! Xxx ‘
Meanwhile, others praised how Supernanny showed how the whole family changed, instead of just the kids.
‘I absolutely love the way you show how the whole family is changing,’ wrote one. This was such an emotional episode and it was so great that the simple changes you gave Nicole helped her realize that she could be a great mama to those lovely boys !! Great series! Love it.’
Another added: ‘I like how you help the whole family. Other series are aimed at the children but this series seems much more aimed at the parents. Show how their emotions and fears play a role in how the children behave and how it can affect a family in such a way. ‘
