Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the latest Nintendo Switch game to support virtual reality via the cardboard Labo headset. The most recent update of the game, which brings it to version 3.1.0, adds VR support, although it is naturally quite limited. You can only play in single player and you are limited to fighting against AI opponents or simply appearing while computer-controlled characters fight it out. It is not exactly the most exciting addition, especially given the poor support for VR before Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey pale. Yet it is a free update and if you already have Lab VR, it is probably worth looking at the novelty factor. You can read the full patch notes here.
