Horror hit-and-run leaves woman dead after allegedly being dragged under a car before being crushed into another vehicle – as woman, 22, is arrested by police

A woman has been tragically killed in an alleged hit and run where she was dragged across the road before hitting a parked car in western Melbourne.
Another woman, 22, has since been arrested and is now assisting detectives in their investigation of the fatal incident.
The victim got out of a car on Sunshine’s High Street around 3:10 p.m. Monday as the vehicle took off.
The car dragged her down the road a short distance until she hit a parked car.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but later died.

The driver did not stop at the scene, police said.
A Brookfield woman, 22, was arrested Monday night and is helping police with their investigation.
No charges have been filed as of Tuesday morning.
Police believe the driver and victim were known to each other.
An investigation into the exact circumstances of the collision continues.
