Sunset Tower is ready to take its guests.
The Hollywood-beloved hotel has introduced an offering that resonates with its Old Hollywood vibe. The Sunset Boulevard property is working with rental company Hollywood Classic Cars on an arrangement that will make a fleet of wheels available for cruising, including vintage rides such as a 1968 Mercedes 280SL, a 1967 Porsche 912, a 1969 Ford Torino GT, a Rolls Royce Corniche from 1982, and a Mercedes 560SL from 1986.
The combination is personal for hotelier Jeff Klein.
“Sunset Tower is known for its combination of old Hollywood glamor and sexy sophistication. I’ve always loved vintage architecture and cars, and thought about how cool it would be to marry the two. What if guests could experience a kind of fantasy – a return to another era – as they drive to the iconic Art Deco hotel in a turn-of-the-century car? I brainstormed the idea with my team and we created this pack. Based on the response on social media and the immediate feedback we have received, people are excited about the concept.”
