Selling Sunset has been hit with explosive behind-the-scenes drama just days before the season 8 release, after the cast learned that Nicole Young secretly spread a rumor that Emma Hernan had an affair with a married man.
The terrifying fallout came over the weekend when officers were given footage of new episodes ahead of the Netflix show’s return on Friday, with Chrishell Stause claiming her friend Emma, 33, had been “blindsided” by the “disgusting” and “categorically false” lie.
Shocked by the damning scenes, Chrishell, 43, and Chelsea Lazkani, 30, publicly slammed Nicole, 38, and also accused Done and Done Productions, the company behind Selling Sunset, of “spreading lies to get views.”
In a series of explosive social media posts, Chrishell threatened to leave the hit show and vowed to never work with Nicole again, while slamming the production company for allegedly not giving Emma a chance to respond to the rumor.
She wrote: ‘Are we still giving airtime to LIARS who just want airtime?’

While Emma has yet to publicly address the Nicole rumor, she is said to have been “caught by surprise.”
In another post he wrote: ‘I will NEVER work on a show she’s on again. I’d rather get sued.
‘Disclaimer: When you watch the video, you should know that she is telling a disgusting lie about her best friend that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. IT IS NOT TRUE.’
She then tagged Done and Done Productions and added, “You’re disgusting for blindsiding her with this for the world to see instead of letting her AT LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.”
Chelsea also publicly criticized the “diabolical” Nicole and the producer.
She said: ‘Good morning everyone except @nicoleyoung. You are the most evil piece of (trash can emoji) I have ever met.
“You want to start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. Okay, let’s see how you do with this…”
‘@done_and_done_productions where is your moral ground and integrity? Spreading lies to gain views is very damaging.’
In another post, Chelsea tagged the Instagram profiles of Nicole, Bre Tiesi and Mary Bonnet and added: “You lie, appease and steal while your own (trash can emoji) has landed some of you in lawsuits. I’ve kept quiet until now but this is not okay.”
Emma (right) has received furious support from Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani, who have criticised Nicole and the production company behind Selling Sunset.

Meanwhile, Chelsea slammed Done and Done Productions, accusing them of “spreading lies to get views.”

Nicole doubled down on her stance and defended the spread of the rumor “for the sanctity of all marriages.”
“As a married woman, I stand firmly and confidently for the sanctity of all marriages,” she began a statement on her Instagram stories.
‘Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you girls should ask your best friends some tough questions.
‘Did he let you know that his wife’s best friend confronted her directly on camera in the Season 7 finale?
‘Still, I did say that this information was hearsay. And since both of you have been victims of extramarital affairs, I believe that you too would defend the sanctity of all marriages.’
While Emma has yet to publicly address Nicole’s claims, she has posted snaps of herself, Chrishell and Chelsea on her grid along with a love heart emoji.
Nicole doubled down on the drama, declaring that she stands for “the sanctity of all marriages.”
He also insisted that he claimed the information about Emma was a ‘rumour’.

Selling Sunset season 8 is set to hit Netflix on September 6 and will largely document the breakdown of Chelsea’s marriage to Jeff Lazkani.
Last month, a trailer showed Chelsea crying after a newcomer told Bre that they had heard “something” about Jeff.
Despite having clashed with Chelsea since she joined the cast in season six, Bre reveals that she was afraid to break the bad news to her enemy.
“They say not to shoot the messenger, but she’s definitely going to shoot me,” he said as he prepared to meet Chelsea at a restaurant.

Emma hasn’t responded to Nicole’s rumor, but she did post this photo on her grid along with a heart emoji.
The footage then shows Chelsea getting emotional during a confession.
“I don’t want to do this. I can’t do this,” the mother of two told the cameras.
Chelsea filed for divorce after seven years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Days later, her ex-husband accused her of being “physically aggressive.”
Jeff alleged that the British-Nigerian real estate agent “punched” him “in the face in an aggressive manner, breaking his glasses and causing a small cut to the side of his face.”
She also said that in order to maintain the well-being of her two children, daughter Melia, 3, and son Maddox, 5, neither of them should live in her five-bedroom Manhattan Beach home.
