David Koch reveals his surprising new career move as the veteran presenter leaves Sunrise after 21 years
David ‘Kochie’ Koch was just days away from his last morning on the Sunrise set when he unveiled his new career move on Wednesday.
The Australian TV juggernaut, 67, revealed that he publishes a financial advice newsletter called Your Money & Your Life.
He announced the news to his Instagram followers, saying the bulletin will “filter” all financial news into an “easy-to-understand” publication.
‘I publish a newsletter every Friday. It’s called Your Money & Your Life,” he said in the video post.
“I’m filtering all the important money news I think you need to know into one easy-to-understand newsletter that can really change your life.”

In the post’s caption, Kochie suggested his newsletter could help readers make “smarter money moves” as they “build a prosperous financial future.”
It appeared that the publication will be part of the financial news reporter role he will fulfill for the last 18 months of his Channel Seven contract.
The announcement comes after Kochie and Sunrise co-host Natalie Barr were spotted attending a transfer luncheon with his replacement Matt ‘Shirvo’ Shirvington.

As the Olympic sprinter, 44, prepared for Australia’s No. 1 breakfast show, the trio eschewed a boisterous farewell party in favor of a low-key lunch at Tapavino restaurant in Barangaroo earlier this week.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Shirvo shared the advice Kochie had given him before taking the top job.
Kochie said the two nicest things, which is, “You’re going to have the time of your life and you’re a good fit for the part,” said Shirvo.
The father-of-three was officially announced as Kochie’s replacement on Monday – nearly a week after Daily Mail Australia first reported the promotion.
