Sunrise presenter Natalie Barr denies rumors of a ‘feud’ with former presenter Melissa Doyle and behind-the-scenes tension on the breakfast show.

Natalie Barr has addressed rumors of behind-the-scenes tension at Sunrise and an alleged “feud” between her and Melissa Doyle.

The TV presenter, 55, has firmly denied any claims there is any bad blood between her and former Sunrise presenter Melissa, 54.

Talking about Something to Talk About Stellar podcastHe said he normally tries to “ignore” rumors of any tension on the Seven breakfast show.

She insisted she had never witnessed any ‘catfights’ on the Seven Breakfast TV show and denied any tension between her and Melissa.

She said: ‘I basically got on with everyone. I don’t remember any catfights in the Sunrise office, whatever a catfight is, I don’t remember any!’

Natalie Barr has addressed rumors of tension behind the scenes at Sunrise and a ‘feud’ between her and Melissa Doyle.

Natalie also shut down claims she felt “overlooked” when Sam Armytage replaced Melissa as co-host of Sunrise in 2013, despite having completed the show herself.

Natalie, who replaced Sam when he stepped down in 2021, said she never thought she would be able to do the job at the time and was delighted with Sam’s appointment.

When asked about the rumors, she explained: “I remember going to dinner with the head of the show and Sam, right after she announced it, having a glass of wine and saying, ‘Regards, you’re the best person for this job.’ and I sincerely believe that.”

‘I didn’t think I was ready for the job, hands on heart, I didn’t think I could do the job at that time. I thought Sam was the best person for the job, and that was the case at the time,” he continued.

“It’s strange that no one believes you when you say things like that, because you can’t say it enough.”

The TV presenter, 55, has firmly rejected any claims there is any bad blood between her and former Sunrise presenter Melissa (pictured).

Natalie admitted that she was even “hesitant” to take the hosting job when Sam left years later in 2021, and revealed that she had to be “convinced” because she was “nervous.”

“When Sam left, even then I hesitated, I don’t know if it’s something in my DNA that I had a hard time raising my hand,” he said.

‘When the boss called me and said, ‘Do you want it?’ We were talking about it and he stopped me and said, ‘It sounds like you don’t want this job.’ It sounds like you’re talking yourself out of it.

‘Something hit me and I got cold sweats and I was um-ing and ah-ing, and he said, ‘It’s okay.’ I’ve had jobs like this where I’ve been nervous and questioning myself. You can still do the job.’

‘And I thought, maybe it’s okay. Maybe I can do it. But even then they had to convince me.

Natalie also shut down claims she felt “overlooked” when Sam Armytage (pictured) replaced Melissa as Sunrise co-host in 2013.

“So I sat at my desk, watched two women do it brilliantly and I’m still doubting myself. I don’t know if it’s a woman thing. “I know it’s me, but honestly that’s how I felt.”

Natalie confessed that it still took her about a year into the presenting job to feel completely comfortable because of her nerves.

She has now become a household name on the show and recently gave an insight into her daily routine while filming.

Earlier this week, she appeared in a video on the show’s official Instagram page to detail her typical day.

Natalia shared He gets out of bed at 2:45 a.m. every morning to host the highly rated show.

He went on to explain that they bring him breakfast every day on set, but admitted that sometimes they are too busy to eat right away.

Natalie admitted she was even “hesitant” to take the hosting job when Sam left years later in 2021, revealing that she had to be “convinced” because she was “nervous.”

“They actually brought us breakfast on set… and then we were so busy that we didn’t have time to eat it at 6:30 am, so I had it at 8:30 am… eggs so cold,” said. .

Natalie admitted that she doesn’t like to cook and prefers to bake “anything sweet… cookies, slices, cakes, I would eat sweets all day if I could.”

She also shared that her favorite food is ‘pancakes’, while her guilty pleasure is Caramilk chocolate.

“I could eat a whole block, I’m not even kidding and a pretty big block,” he admitted.
