Sunrise meteorologist Sam Mac left red-faced as he suffers a live-on-air fashion glitch: ‘I can claim it in taxes’
Sam Mac suffered a fashion failure live on Tuesday.
The Sunrise weatherman was covering a motocross event on the Gold Coast in very muddy conditions.
As the hosts tossed him from the studio onto the field, Sam stood on the damp ground, looking unimpressed.
The camera focused on her white sneakers, which were now totally dirty.
‘Welcome to episode 164 of Bad day to wear white sneakers! I’ve done it again, I really know how to pick them!’ she said sarcastically.

“Okay, I can claim it in taxes,” Sam joked, prompting laughter from the show’s hosts.
Moving on, the consummate professional continued with his interview with some of the motorcyclists at the sporting event.
It comes after Sam kept up his friendly feud with Robert Irwin recently after people jokingly called the Wildlife Warrior to take the weatherman’s job.
The 41-year-old Sunrise star shared a hilarious photo on her Instagram showing a fan, Tara, holding a sign that read: “Robert Irwin 4 Weatherman.”

It comes after Sam kept up his friendly feud with Robert Irwin (pictured) recently after people jokingly called the Wildlife Warrior into taking the weatherman’s job.
He posed with the smiling woman and pretended to be furious at her demand as she put an arm around him and proudly displayed her sign.
Sam wrote in the caption next to the comic photo: ‘Thank you Tara. #Justice.’
The Channel Seven star’s playful feud with Robert, 19, began in July last year when the celebrated conservationist replaced Sam as meteorologist while he was on personal leave.
Since then, the friends have amicably criticized each other over the coveted position, with the conflict coming to a head only a few weeks ago.
