West Wilson, the new star of Bravo’s Summer House, has revealed his best tips for dressing to impress on a first date and, in the process, shared what he really thinks of his co-stars’ clothes.
Wilson, 28, joined the cast this year for the show’s eighth season and has already become a fan favorite while striking up a romance with fellow co-star Ciara Miller.
The show documents a group of friends living in a shared house in The Hamptons and New York City during the summer.
And, while recently speaking with Bravo’s The daily dishWilson explained how his veteran co-stars, Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke, had a strange way of influencing—or should we say, disinfluencing—his style?

During the interview, Wilson also gave tips on how to dress well for a first date, like the one she had with co-star Ciara Miller (above).
“Kyle and Carl, no offense to them, are old guys,” Wilson told the outlet.
“They’re very New York,” he continued. “Loafers, white pants, V-necks, button-down shirts all the time.”
The new star explained that she wanted to make sure she dressed differently than Cooke and Radke last summer.
Wilson described his personal style as “subtly cool” and “baggy hipster.”
“(It was) important for me to stand out with the way I dress this summer,” Wilson said.
“So whether it was Jordans or a baggy T-shirt… That’s how I approached it: to make sure I didn’t dress like Kyle or Carl.”
So far this season of the show, Wilson has rocked some unique outfits, including a pair of floral granny pants, camouflage sweatshirts, and Birkenstocks.
Her fun style has already caught the attention of Supreme Management model Miller, who has been the star’s love interest in the house this season.

Wilson said he didn’t want to dress like Cooke (above) or even Radke, two Summer House veterans.
Both Radke and Cooke have been on Summer House since its first season, which premiered in 2017.
The two have spent a lot of time together while in the house, even seeing each other during the week in New York City.
In the most recent episode, Miller even referred to Wilson as her “cool boyfriend,” even though the two hadn’t officially put a label on their relationship.
However, while their current relationship status is unclear, Wilson offered some tips on how to dress well for a first date during her chat with The Daily Dish.
‘She’s already been on your hinge. She knows what you are like. “He or she has already seen you,” she explained.
“The first date is about getting to know someone, so don’t wear something stupid that will set you back,” Wilson continued.
He told the outlet that it’s best to stick to what you know when you meet someone for the first time.
‘Keep it subtle. Use your staples. It can be a necklace or a nice t-shirt. Don’t do anything stupid,” the Summer House heartthrob offered.
During the interview, she also highlighted a fashion tip that her father gave her, which was to make one piece of your outfit the main focus, such as wearing a pair of printed pants and a neutral top.
During this season of the show, Wilson has begun a romance with model and reality star Ciara Miller.
“The first date is about getting to know someone, so don’t wear something stupid that will set you back,” Wilson said.

While Wilson and Miller’s relationship has been a topic of discussion on this season of Summer House, so has that of Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard.
The couple, who have been friends for eight years, started dating in 2021 and got engaged in August 2022.
The two broke off their engagement in August and subsequently their wedding, which was scheduled for November 2023 in Mexico.
The camera captured multiple fights between the two, even as Radke’s stepfather, who is an ordained minister, admitted he would not have married the couple at that point in the summer.
Their breakup took place on camera, and Radke told her he wanted to call off the engagement.
The conversation will air later this season on Summer House.
“It was absolutely humiliating,” Hubbard said of the split during an interview with Us weekly this past fall.
‘It would have been one thing if this conversation had happened during the summer during the normal filming schedule. But for (Carl) to call the producers and then set up cameras and manipulate me into sitting down (so he could break up with me) after we were already done is terrifying,” he said.
“The whole world found out about me within 30 minutes.”
