Succession star Alan Ruck was photographed Thursday in Studio City, Calif., as he was seen for the first time since crashing his truck into a Hollywood pizzeria in a four-vehicle accident Tuesday.
The 67-year-old actor, who was seen running errands during a daytime outing, was asked about the accident and said: ‘I’m fine and thank God no one was killed .”
Ruck wore a gray zip-up sweater over a white shirt with black shorts and gray low-top sneakers with white socks.
The actor wore black sunglasses on the warm fall day and wore a knee brace. He said of the corset: “It’s not because of the accident, it’s because I’m getting older.”
Ruck’s wife, actress Mireille Enos, 48, was photographed in West Hollywood on Thursday, speaking on the phone.

The accident involving Ruck took place Tuesday around 9 p.m. at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, police sources said. TMZ.
Footage from the aftermath of the incident showed part of the cabin of the Rivian truck the Emmy-nominated actor was driving in lodged in the brick structure.
Sources told the outlet that two people were injured during the incident and were “conscious and breathing” as a result, and that no pedestrians were involved.
The multi-car collision remains under investigation, sources tell TMZ.
The Cleveland-born actor, who played Connor Roy in the HBO series and Cameron Frye in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off in 1986, was seen out of the vehicle following the multi-car collision, speaking on his cellphone, reported TMZ.
According to the outlet, surveillance footage of the crash showed Ruck’s truck hit a vehicle in front of him, pushing it into the cross section, before his truck then slammed into the restaurant.
LAPD Sgt. Hector Guzman told Los Angeles Times On Wednesday, “injuries were reported, but they appear minor” and “not life-threatening.”
No one was arrested for driving under the influence, authorities said.

Ruck was dressed casually, as he wore a gray zip-up sweater over a white shirt with black shorts and gray low-top sneakers with white socks.

He appeared to be carrying a pair of Monster energy drinks as he walked towards a waiting black vehicle.

Ruck’s wife, actress Mireille Enos, 48, was photographed in West Hollywood on Thursday.

Damage was noted following the collision on October 31, involving four vehicles.

The incident took place around 9 p.m., at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, as yellow ribbons cordoned off the damage and debris following the road accident.

There was “no indication of drunk driving” in connection with the multi-car collision, which remains under investigation, sources told TMZ.

Restaurant Tim Ratcliff, who was present at the chain of events on Tuesday, said KTLA that “the whole building shook” when Ruck’s vehicle hit the structure.
“I thought a bomb or something had gone off,” he added.
Ratcliff said he went to help Ruck after the accident and that Ruck was more concerned about the well-being of others than his own.
“I asked him, ‘Are you okay?’ ” he said. “And the first thing out of his mouth was, ‘Is everyone (the others) okay? I think I hit someone. Is he okay?”
Ruck took part in a high-profile driving mission in September 2021, when he drove the press van for President Joe Biden’s motorcade in Long Beach, California.
Fox White House producer Pat Ward said at the time that Ruck told him that “someone asked him if he wanted to drive in a presidential motorcade and he wondered why.”
In recent years, Ruck has enjoyed a career renaissance as part of the ensemble cast of Succession, which concluded its four-season run this past May.
He played the role of Connor Roy, the oft-overlooked eldest son of media mogul Logan Roy, whose storyline on the show revolved around a long run for president.
The veteran actor earned an Emmy nomination this year for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his efforts in the critically acclaimed series.

In the newspaper interview, Ruck said there were years between Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Succession where he wasn’t sure if he would have another major role in his career.
“There were many irregular years where I made just enough money to stay alive,” Ruck said. “When people would come up during that time and say something about Ferris Bueller, it really irritated me because I felt like that was it. That was my chance.
Ruck has also appeared in films including 1994’s Speed and 1996’s Twister, as well as the 2007 miniseries The Bronx Is Burning.
Before Succession, his best-known television role came in the ABC comedy Spin City, as he appeared in 145 episodes of the series as Stuart Bondek.
Recently, Ruck appeared in the recently released Amazon drama The Burial alongside Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones; and has two films in the works, Crust and Wind River: Rising.
