Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach continues to rely on substitute goalkeeper Tobias Sippel (35). The five-time German champions extended the contract with the goalkeeper for another season until June 30, 2024.
“Tobi has experienced a lot in his almost eight years at Borussia and was always a reliable number two. He was always there when he was needed,” emphasized sporting director Roland Virkus: “Now his role has changed a little, but he stays an important factor for us – on and off the pitch.”
And Sippel said: “I’m very happy to stay at Borussia and I’m looking forward to the tasks ahead.”
