As any new parent knows, it can be hard to even think about being fashionable after having a baby. The trick is to take small steps to find moments that make you feel like yourself. Style Expert Lilliana Vazquez — Tons of Deals for Real on E! – know this all too well. As the mom of 11-week-old Santiago Merrick McGrath, she’s discovered a few key things that have given her a boost.
Scroll to the products she’s obsessed with.
“My ‘me time’ is all about a mani,” the new mom gushes. “I’m obsessed with this nail polish.”
J.Hannah polishes are made in the USA and are cruelty-free and non-toxic. This color – Ghost Ranch – is what Vazquez has in his hands right now.
“It’s the color for fall,” she says, calling the line one of the most “refined color collections right now.”
Bibs can look kinda blah, or plastered in cartoon characters and cheap jokes – not this one!
“These gorgeous bibs look like little bandanas,” she noted, which come in a variety of cool prints.
“I like more neutral colors and adult prints for my baby – I feel like it suits the vibe of how I dress. Also the vibe of my home! They’re so, so soft.”
Vazquez calls her breastfeeding journey “complicated”, but one product made it a little less tricky – sunflower lecithin supplements.
“It just helps regulate the thickness of the milk so it flows nicely — you never have clogged ducts,” she reveals. “As a new mom, I’m always looking for things that just make it easier so that I can continue to breastfeed Santiago.”
The self-proclaimed “makeup girl” is just starting to make her way back to creating glamorous beauty looks at home — and she’s loving the brand new MAC collaboration with Rosalia.
“Love the fact that she mixed really cool mattes with really fun glittery pigments too,” she revealed. “I can use the matte all over the lid and then just hit the center with a little sparkle rose gold.”
Vazquez is also a fan of the lipstick from the collection in the shade Nutmeg, which she calls her perfect nude.
Vazquez’s latest favorite isn’t a beauty or baby item — rather, it’s a drink!
“I’m obsessed with Mexican hot chocolate,” she said.
Her recipe? Abuelita chocolate with a hint of vanilla extract, cinnamon and a hint of chipotle chili pepper for a little kick.
“Don’t be afraid of this! I love a spicy Mexican hot chocolate,” she revealed. “To me, it reminds me of growing up and it reminds me of my grandmother’s kitchen.”
