A stunning Maine home equipped with a private sandy beach has hit the market for nearly $3 million.

The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home was built in 2017 and is located in Soaring Eagle Pt in Northportjust over an hour from Augusta.

It was recently listed for $2.95 million, as listing agent Brian Wickenden of Legacy Properties Sotheby’s said the beach area is what makes the home so unique.

The sandy area along 336 feet of ocean frontage has spectacular views of two islands: Camden Hills and Penobscot Bay. A ferry travels from Lincolnville to Islesboro passing by the home’s private beach daily.

“On a beautiful summer day, you’ll probably see someone out there,” he said. “But there’s a lot of room to share,” Wickenden said. Bangor Daily News.

Wickenden said that although about four or five neighbors also have access to the beach area, “it’s not used much” because many of the houses are rented seasonally.

In addition to the beach, the 3,306-square-foot home sits on 6.5 acres of land. There is also a covered porch, a two-car garage, and five to ten additional gravel parking spaces.

The interior of the homes is filled with a mix of earth tones and blues, along with exposed brick and stone.

In the living room area, a large stone fireplace is surrounded by abundant natural light, exposed ceiling beams and beautiful hardwood floors.

Just off the living room is a large eat-in kitchen with the same hardwoods, overhead lighting, slate countertops, and a zinc-clad island.

The kitchen also comes equipped with stainless steel appliances, white cabinets and shiplap walls.

One bedroom is located just off the kitchen area, with dark pastel blue walls, great lighting from the windows, a closet, and a full bathroom.

The master bedroom is located upstairs with a similar blue color on the walls, dark furniture, ample lighting, closet, wardrobe and bathroom.

The bathroom attached to the bedroom is located in the middle of the upstairs, with one door accessible through the master and another located near the top of the steps.

Another room that also shares a similar shade of blue has a large bed, great lighting, and space for a sofa or sitting area.

In the basement, there is room for a sectional sofa, additional chairs, a giant flat screen TV, and an additional sitting area for guests.

There is a room with two single beds, a full bathroom and another bedroom in the basement.

The backyard area, right next to the private beach, is complete with grass, space for a picnic table, and a garden area.

Wickenden said the owners who sold the property originally built it to be their home, but ended up moving and renting it out.

Although it could be used for seasonal or permanent housing, Wickenden said most people could consider it a summer home.

“In my opinion, in the future it is more plausible that it will simply be someone’s summer home,” he said.

“Most people at this price point are looking for a place to live.”
