The estate is located a few meters from the US national monument 155 Irving Avenue, which is the Kennedy complex.
In 2012, the complex’s Big House was donated to the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.
John F. Kennedy purchased one of the famous resort’s many properties in 1965 with the intention of expanding the existing family property. The property at 155 Irving Avenue later became known as the “President’s House” and the “Summer White House” during his presidency.
