Caitlin Clark shined in the fourth consecutive victory for the Indiana Fever, who left Dallas with a 100-93 victory over the Wings on Sunday.
In 37 minutes of play, Clark scored 28 points, 12 assists and four assists to achieve her second consecutive double-double. Meanwhile, Kelsey Mitchell led the game in scoring with 36 points and six rebounds.
With Clark’s sensational rookie season coming to a close, Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman praised the former Iowa star for his contributions to the game during the broadcast.
“When I walked in here before the game, there were hundreds of fans lined up,” Lieberman said. “What Caitlin Clark has done for the game is generational. As a basketball player, I just want to say thank you, Caitlin Clark.”
“For making our game better,” he continued. “You and so many great players. But what you’re doing is going to make all these women billionaires one day. Like Tiger (Woods) did. Like Michael Jordan did.”

“We shouldn’t hate her, we should celebrate her, not tolerate her,” Lieberman added.
While Clark’s rookie campaign has been marked by rising attendance and viewership numbers since entering the WNBA, the Fever are in a tight race for playoff contention as the postseason approaches.
Indiana now has a 17-16 record and sits in sixth place in the league with six games remaining. Behind them is Phoenix at 16-17, while Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky are trying to hold on to the final playoff spot at 11-21.
Prior to the trip to Dallas, Clark and Reese faced off for the final time as rookies and both recorded double-doubles as the Fever claimed a 100-81 victory and a 3-1 regular-season series win.
While Reese barely met the marks with 10 points and 11 rebounds, Clark erupted for a game-high 31 points with his 12 digs the perfect way to set the table for another double-double in Dallas.
Indiana now has a 17-16 record, ranking sixth in the league with six games remaining.

The win and her performance were anticipated when Clark started a beautiful sequence to tie the game at six. Clark passed to Kelsey Mitchell at 3/4 court, who made a behind-the-back bounce pass to NaLyssa Smith for a layup.
Clark finished the game shooting 10-of-19 from the field and 5-of-11 from three. While he had an impressive performance, Clark also recorded seven turnovers in the game.
Indiana has a five-game homestand ahead of it, including Los Angeles, Minnesota, Atlanta, Las Vegas twice and Dallas. It closes the regular season on the road against Washington.
As a rookie, Clark leads the league in assists and trails Sabrina Ionescu in 3-pointers made. The Rookie of the Year front-runner also broke the record for most assists by a rookie in late August.
