Will artificial intelligence end up producing the best kind of people? The truth is that it is not known, although some specialists confirmed a few weeks ago that humanity is in danger. Whatever it is, while artificial intelligence is not going to kill us, it may gradually turn us into rags of humanity.

A recent study published by the scientific journal “Applied Psychology” indicated that the growing resort to artificial intelligence in the world of work may have a significant impact on the emotional state of the currency, as it warns scientists of slipping in large numbers towards a state of mental instability.

The study indicates that artificial intelligence tends to enhance our feelings of loneliness, since it contributes to reducing human interactions with each other. And as employees turn to AI to complement or even compensate for their efforts, they will no longer need to talk to their colleagues.

On the other hand, this state of acute detachment is not only embodied by an impression of loneliness, as the researchers recorded a tendency towards insomnia and a greater desire to consume alcohol, and this is the conclusion of a study conducted at the same time in the United States, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan.

The rapid development of artificial intelligence systems is heading us towards a new industrial revolution, which will reshape the concept of the world of work in a positive way in general, but with some risks that we are ignorant of, and these risks may include psychological and physical harm to employees, according to what the researchers see.

Ironically, the study shows that people who regularly use AI in their work were more attentive to their colleagues and more able to help them when needed. However, this spirit of openness and cooperation stems in fact from a sense of acute loneliness and an urgent need to interact with the human environment.
