Stripper filmed climbing out of fire truck requested a lift around the block after firefighters initially refused, boss reveals
- San Jose officials say a stripper was seen stripping from a fire truck asking for a ride
- Chief Robert Sabin Jr. said the firefighters initially refused her request but relented
- A video of the woman getting out of the truck went viral on social media
The San Jose Fire Department chief said the stripper who was photographed getting out of a firetruck in 2022 requested a tour around the block, which was initially denied.
President Robert Sabin Jr. said in a statement statement that his firefighters are being disciplined after an internal investigation into the viral video of the “unauthorized female” climbing out of the truck.
Sabine said firefighters told the woman they couldn’t give her a ride, but later relented and drove her around the building.
The fire chief said he is now working with other managers and city executives to discuss the implications and promote “expectations of professional conduct.”
“I have initiated dialogue sessions with senior and middle management to reinforce expectations of professional conduct, a process that will continue across all departmental ranks,” said the fire chief.

Chief Robert Sabin Jr. said in a statement that his firefighters are being disciplined after an internal investigation into the viral video of the “unauthorized female” climbing out of the truck.
According to Sabine, the truck had initially made its way to the Pink Poodle Strip club to transport an “unauthorized man” from the fire station to the club, where he worked.
In a statement to KRON4City officials confirmed that the fire department did not receive a service call to the club that night.
The fire truck left the station at 9pm and arrived at Pink Poodle at 9.06pm.
An investigation revealed that the woman’s ride was over by 9.10pm.
After the van left the Pink Poodle, which boasts of being ‘San Jose’s only strip club’, I pulled up near AJ’s Restaurant and Bar at 1111 Auzerias Ave for two minutes at 9.14pm. 9.20pm.
Using a city vehicle to transport unauthorized passengers violates city and fire department policies, including the city’s code of ethics and city and personal vehicle use policies as well as the fire department’s ride-hailing program, the statement said.
In addition, moving the fire engine out of the area it is assigned to without sending it to a call for service violates city and department policies, including the fire department’s policies and procedures for leaving the first response area.”
In March, the fire chief said he called for strict discipline for all involved.
Sabin called it “deeply damaging to the trust and confidence of our community and workforce”.
It is not clear what disciplinary action was taken against the firefighters.
The San Jose City Manager’s Office said Fox News Digital that “discipline is a confidential personal matter.”
